Campus France 2027: the calendar you need to know

Application windows, interviews and documents to prepare so nothing is missed next season.

The Campus France procedure changes every year, and families who discover it in February typically spend three times longer on it than families who start in October. Here is the frame for the 2027 season, as we work with it at the practice.

The three phases of the procedure

The procedure breaks into three phases that rarely overlap. The academic file comes first: transcripts, diplomas, personal statement. Then the motivational interview, often feared for no good reason. Finally, the submission of preferences to schools, which follow their own calendars.

The classic mistake is to wait for the interview before preparing the file. In practice, the interview is the consequence of a coherent file: the panel wants to understand why this track, at this school, after this course of study.

What changes for 2027

Three points deserve attention this season:

  • Processing times have lengthened in several countries. Submitting in December rather than January is no longer caution; it is the norm.
  • Translated documents must now sometimes be accompanied by a certificate of conformity. Check country by country.
  • Schools running their own platforms (beyond Campus France) often ask for different statement formats. A single generic file no longer works.

The rule we apply at the practice

Every family leaves the assessment with a personal calendar: the date of every document, every submission, the likely interview date. It is handed over in writing. Families who follow it get markedly more consistent results than families who go by feel.
